Workshop Results
The U.S. Geological Survey's Mid-Continent Mapping Center in Rolla, Missouri, recently hosted
a 4-day National Spatial Data Transfer Standard Implementors' Workshop for over 130 individuals
from across the nation. The workshop, held on the campus of the University of Missouri - Rolla,
was sponsored by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the Federal Geographic Data Committee
(FGDC), and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The event supported the USGS
National Mapping Division's missions as a National leader in geospatial data policy and standards,
