Henry Tom, Senior standards manager for the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) and Chair of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) L1.
Mr. Tom presented SDTS as a potential ANSI standard and highlighted its adaptability as a harmonizing standard even at the international level.

SDTS in FGDC Context
Denise Perreca, Standards Coordinator for the Federal Geographic Data Committee
Ms. Perreca presented an overview of FGDC standards and described SDTS as a federal standard selected to support the National Spatial Data Infrastructure.
